My Kitchen is Famous!

Ok well not really. But HGTV did write a post about me and some of the renos I’ve done on the kitchen for their Real People Reno series yesterday. You can check it out at Woman vs. Kitchen.
Gotta say, it caught me kind of off guard. Last week during the Mike Holmes show they were doing a liveblogging thing on the site, and I got to talking to Elana – the woman behind the blog and @hgtvcanada twitter account – about how I’d tiled my backsplash myself.
I sent her links to before and after photos on my Flickr account; I guess she looked around a little and figured she could use me for the Real People Reno series.
I gotta say, it feels kind of like being on the front page of the local newspaper. I’m sure only the people who read are those I sent the link to, but I can pretend that everyone is reading about me, right?
